Commemoration of World Day against Trafficking in Person 2021

With a call to all the stakeholders to join hands together to combat Human Trafficking and undertaking a Social Media Campaign to increase awareness about this heinous crime , the World Day against Trafficking in Person (TIP) 2021 commemorated by the Counter-Trafficking in Persons Technical Working Group (CTIPTWG) under the Bangladesh United Nations Network on Migration (BDUNNM). 

To commemorate the Day, a Webinar was organized with the participation of the representatives from the Government of Bangladesh (GoB), members of the Bangladesh United Nations Network on Migration (BDUNNM), partners from civil society and the private sector and a Social Media Campaign was run with engaging celebrities. Through the campaign, more than 2 million people were reached worldwide and over 50 media reports were published.
